Frequently Asked Questions

  • What types of businesses can you help?

Nicole Umana Creative works with businesses of different sizes, creatives, and online business owners.

Common businesses we are not a good fit for:

eCommerce, products, technology, fashion, travel, photography, personal brands, Speech-Language Pathologists, and related fields with an online business

  • Who owns the finished website, branding, and other deliverables?

YOU have full ownership to your website design. I build websites on Squarespace and can transfer to most web hosts.

Once your invoice is paid, you have full ownership of all products, designs, and deliverables.

I want you to stay with me because you want to, not because you have to.

  • How long does it take to build a website?

On average, websites launch within 4 to 6 weeks from project start. If you are trying to meet a specific deadline, let me know and we can provide you with options.

  • Do you outsource work?

All of my work is performed in-house by me, Nicole. No subcontractors and no outsourcing.

If any services need to be outsourced I will work with you to find someone to work with or you can choose to bring anyone you would like to support your team.

  • Why can't I find prices on your website?

Each client I work with has specific needs that require individualized packages and pricing.

This does not mean that I change my rate per client, but that I take into consideration what support you need and how to work within your budget.

  • What happens when the project is completed?

    You have 2 options!

If you want to take control of your marketing, website, etc I am more than happy to send you a set of comprehensive video tutorials to help you learn your way around, as well as provide you with a training session to help get you on your way.

If you are not looking to take control and would like someone to manage this for you, I will create a maintenance package for you.

  • Who writes the content of the site?

YOU! You are the expert on your business, so it’s usually best if it comes from you. If you need help, I can recommend copywriters who can help clean up or write original content for you at an additional cost.

  • Do you offer unlimited revisions?

No. My time (and yours) is limited, and I believe that a responsible process narrows focus and helps us to avoid pursuing dead-end concepts and ongoing changes. Typical projects go through one or two rounds of revisions because of this process. Additional revisions can be requested with an extra charge.

  • How can I send in a testimonial after we've worked together?

    Through this google form
